Logan & Shawnee

This was probably the coldest day of the year… but that didn’t stop us from carrying out this wonderful paparazzi proposal plan with ease!  Logan contacted us and even drove 3 hours to meet with us in downtown Omaha to iron out all the little details before he popped the question.  Initially, the plan was to capture the proposal on a carriage ride.  However, with the recent M’s Pub fire, we had to change it up a bit since the carriages were no longer running.  Ted & Wally’s (and their cute little outdoor patio) was the next best option!  Logan & Shawnee ate dinner at Blue Sushi, then bared the cold as they strolled through downtown Omaha to the “spot” at Ted & Wally’s.  That is where all the magic happened!  Shawnee had no idea why Logan wanted to get ice cream on such a cold night, but it was well worth it :).

Ben & Morgan

Meet Ben and Morgan– We could not have asked for a more adorable couple to ambush as they got engaged!  Soaring Wings Winery is located just outside of Omaha and was the backdrop for this incredible surprise proposal.  The plan of attack started with us pretending to be employees of the winery, hired to take photos during their Friday night concert series (a serious mustdo in Omaha, by the way).  Ben and Morgan were one of the many concert-goers enjoying the scenery, wine and live music.  One thing lead to another and the two began walking privately through the vineyard.  That’s where the magic happened!  It could not have been more perfect!  Oh, and she said “yes!”  We are so excited to share these proposal pictures!  Congrats to the beautiful couple on their engagement!  Here’s to Ben and Morgan! <3

Maggie & Mitch

When Mitch contacted me about being there to photograph his proposal to Maggie, I was thrilled!  Especially when he told me what he had in mind– the whole idea was beyond perfect.  The proposal was to take place during a pie-eating-contest at an annual summer party in Omaha that the two regularly attended.  Mitch remembered that Maggie had LOVED the pie-eating-contest the year prior, and he was determined to make it even more memorable for her this year.  Mitch planted the box with the engagement ring inside the pie that Maggie was going to be eating during the contest.  It was a blue-sky, sunny summer day– perfectly matching Mitch’s excitement.  After “ready, set, GO”, Maggie began competitively eating and quickly came across the box containing her engagement ring.  With faces full of frosting, Mitch happily got down on one knee and asked Maggie to be his wife.  I was overjoyed to be able to capture all of the “sweet” frosting kisses 🙂

Jane & Henry

Talk about being at the right place at the right time! Meet Jane and Henry. These two little lovebirds came all the way from Arkansas to go to The MAHA festival. She thought it was to see Death Cab for Cutie’s very last performance together. He however, had other plans! How cute are they! Love Love Love the thought he put into this.
